Bench Power Supply

Brainstorm The idea to design and build a bench power supply came from numerous small projects in which I needed to supply power to a circuit, sometimes requiring a fixed voltage, and other times requiring an adjustable voltage or current. I began by brainstorming my ideas with ChatGPT, telling it my project goals, constraints, stretch goals, and current available supplies. As shown in my conversation with ChatGPT here, I conversed with it about what protection circuitry would be advisable as well as what items I would need to buy for the project.
